Great News on Cathie

The Lord already had in position the right answers, instruments, and blessings, which can only come from above. The Lord provided the right specialize doctors, with eyes to see, ears to hear and hearts that serve Him. Cathie had just the right injury. What I’m saying is, what an Awesome God!
Cathie has responded very well to the surgery. She was able to get up today, walk to the bathroom, take a shower, sit up at the edge of the bed and eat breakfast and fix her hair. The pain medication is lasting 6 hours instead of 3, and the pain level is greatly reduced to half or more and continues to subside.
They drilled 2 holes into her spine and into the fractured 1st lumbar vertebral body. Deadened some of the nerves of the crushed bone, inserted 2 balloons, filled them with cement, under pressure, to pump up/jack up between the vertebra above and below taking the pressure on the injured bone. The cement hardens inside the balloons very quickly as hard or harder than bone itself. It has worked beautifully. No brace needed, the fragments into the spinal canal where reduced and no longer under pressure. Soft tissue needs to heal. We looking forward to a full recovery in the Lord’s timing and plan
She is tired but praising the Lord for His protection, intervention, provisions, and healing. It is a true answer to prayer, thank you.
Yesterday before surgery and the night before, it was as if we were worshiping for us to read the many prayers, encouragements, and thoughts written back to us. It uplifted us to hear so many who responded, we are with you and our prayer group also. We can't begin to tell you how much it meant to us having you join with us. May you be blessed over and over for your kindness and love expressed.

Dear Cathie & Homer: I was so sad to hear of the horrid car accident you and Homer experienced. I know, Cathie, that God always protects and preserves those who are his handmaidens and servants even though the adversary has evil intent. I have observed through the years, Cathie, that The Lord has a very special task for your life AND, your work for Him isn't completed!! I firmly believe that what the adversary plans God foils! What a marvelous God we serve knowing that He controls every aspect of our lives and thwarts the adversary's plan even when we undergo such a horrific event. God is always there to protect those who willingly serve Him and his angels were there that awful night. I regret so that you are in such pain, but, with your resolve you will overcome and be used in even greater ways for The Lord very soon. But, in the meantime, my friend, REST, REST, REST!! Thank you, Homer, for your loving care of such a wonderful servant of God. Our Long Beach, CA chapter continues to pray for you both and for your rapid recovery Cathie.
